Senior Lindsey Hartle won the 5000m event to lead the Penn State Behrend women's outdoor track & field team at the John Homon Invitational at Mount Union on Saturday.
ALLIANCE, Ohio – Senior Lindsey Hartle won the 5000m event to lead the Penn State Behrend women's outdoor track & field team at the John Homon Invitational at Mount Union on Saturday.
Key Moments:
* Hartle ran 18:34 for first place in the 5000m run and Kelsey Hanna was second in 18:36.47
* Bethany Litwiler and Sam Abate were the lone two competitors in the 3,000m steeplechase, finishing first and second, respectively
* Litwiler posted a time of 12:28.03 and Abate ran 13:12.87
* Braylee Lukehart and Emma Lang were fourth and fifth, respectively, in the javelin
* Lukehart threw 97'9 (29.81m) for fourth and Lang tossed 97'7 (29.76m) for fifth
* Jessica Park had a distance of 130'6 in the hammer throw for sixth place, while Norah Keeney took seventh in the discus with a distance of 122'4"
