Irwin Named AMCC Volleyball Athlete of the Week

ERIE, Pa. – Penn State Behrend women's volleyball setter Lexi Irwin (Greensburg, PA/Hempfield) has been named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Player of the Week, announced on Monday.

Irwin helped the Lions post a 3-1 record last week, including a pair of AMCC victories on Saturday. The senior registered 102 assists, 29 kills and 28 digs in four matches. Irwin was one kill away from her second triple-double of the season against Grove City with 28 assists, 10 digs and nine kills. In a 3-0 win over Franciscan on Saturday, she went 11-for-13 with no errors.

Behrend returns to action on Wednesday against Medaille in the Junker Center. Match time is set for 7 p.m.
