Title Secured! Women's Volleyball Captures AMCC Championship

CRESSON, Pa. – The No. 3 Penn State Behrend women's volleyball team won their seventh overall Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) championship with a 3-2 decision over No. 1 Mt. Aloysius on Sunday.

Final Score: Penn State Behrend 3, Mt. Aloysius 2 (25-23, 20-25, 25-19, 17-25, 15-13)
Records: Penn State Behrend (22-7), Mt. Aloysius (20-8)

Noteworthy: Cadence Jones and Kylie Fehlman were named to the AMCC All-Tournament Team

* The Lions earned the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament thanks to their second win over the Mounties this season
* Behrend tallied a five-point lead early in the first set at 12-7
* Mt. Aloysius tied the match on five occasions and grabbed a two-point lead at 23-21 to force the Lions to use their second timeout
