Behrend Women’s Water Polo Ready for CWPA DIII Championships
The No. 8 seed Penn State Behrend women’s water polo team will travel to Norton, Mass. for the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Division III Championships, hosted by Division III No. 9 seed Wheaton on April 11-13. The Lions match up with the hosts in the first round on Friday at 10 a.m.

* The Lions ended the regular season with a 4-15 overall record, dropping their contests at the W&J Regional
* Junior goalie Monica Villasenor has made 147 saves and a team-best 32 steals this season
* Villasenor also broke the program record for most goals scored by a goalie
* Villasenor has three goals this season and six career goals
* Daris Barth leads the team with 39 goals, while adding 19 assists, 15 drawn ejections and 12 assists
* As a team, Behrend has scored 211 goals in 19 games
* Lauren True is third on the team in goals with 31 and she also had 30 assists 28 drawn ejections and 24 steals
* Makenzie Rickerd ranks second in goals with 37 and Darrah Martin is fourth with 29
* Rickerd scored a career-high eight goals in the 17-16 win over W&J on March 6

Tickets
* Fans attending the CWPA Division III Championship can pay for either a three-day tournament pass ($35) or a one-day pass ($15). Wheaton College students, faculty and staff with a valid college ID, and senior citizens 65 and older, will be admitted at discounted prices of $10 (tournament pass) and $5 (one-day pass). All children 12 and under are free of charge. All tickets are exclusively available at the door as there will be no presale in advance of the championship.
