ROCHESTER, NY – The Penn State Behrend women's cross country finished sixth out of 11 teams to open the 2025 season at the 7th annual St. John Fisher Rodenbeck Invitational.

* Division I Buffalo was the winner of the meet with 24 points, followed by SUNY Geneseo (31) in second and Cortland State in third (115)
* The Lions tallied 200 points for sixth place
* Kelsey Hanna, competing in her first collegiate race, was the top finisher for the Lions with a time of 16:31.8 for the 4K
* Hanna finished in 46th place overall
* Right on the heels of Hanna was the next top scorer for Behrend, Lindsey Hartle
* Hartle ran a 16:32.3 for second on the team and 47th overall
* Bethany Litwiler placed 57th with a time of 16:46.1 and Baylee Dernar came in 73rd with a time of 17:10.0
* Alivia Hetrick, Fiona Bunnell and Sam Abate all place in the Top 100 to round out Behrend's seven runners
