Hartle, Hanna, Cooper Sweep All-AMCC Women's Cross Country Honors
Senior Lindsey Hartle was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Women’s Runner of the Year and freshman Kelsey Hanna earned Newcomer of the Year, while head coach Greg Cooper earned Coach of the Year honors.
ERIE, Pa. – Senior Lindsey Hartle was named the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Women's Runner of the Year and freshman Kelsey Hanna earned Newcomer of the Year, while head coach Greg Cooper earned Coach of the Year honors.
Noteworthy:
* Hartle claimed a first-place finish with a time of 25:55.2 this past weekend at AMCC Championships
* Hartle is the 12th Behrend athlete to earn AMCC Runner of the Year
* Hanna was the top freshman finisher at the AMCC Championships, placing fourth with a time of 26:36.9
* Hartle and Hanna were also named to the All-Conference Team along with Bethany Litwiler, Alivia Hetrick and Sam Abate
* Cooper notched his 14th Coach of the Year award for leading the Lions to their seventh title in a row and 15th overall championship
* The Top 10 6K runners from this past Saturday were selected to All-Conference Team
* Behrend's top seven runners will compete at NCAA Regionals on Saturday, Nov. 15 in Rochester, NY
