ERIE, PA – The Penn State Behrend men's basketball team dropped a non-conference game in overtime to the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets on Saturday.
Final Score: Behrend 57, Waynesburg 60 (OT)
Key Moments:
* Seth Myers (Erie, PA/Genrel McLane) hit a three to jump out to a 20-11 lead over Waynesburg
* With a 1:30 remaining in the first half, the Yellow Jackets erased the deficit following a Nijon Kirkman jumper to tie it up, 24-24
* Mott Popeck got a layup to fall with four seconds left in the first half, sending the Lions to the locker room looking at a 26-24 score in favor of Waynesburg
* With seven minutes remaining, Popeck struck for three to help claim the Jacket's largest lead of the night, pushing the score to 50-40
