Men's Soccer Downs Hilbert in AMCC Action

HAMBURG, NY – Three different Penn State Behrend men's soccer players scored to help the Lions defeat Hilbert 3-1 in Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference action on Wednesday afternoon.

Records: Penn State Behrend (8-2-2, 3-0 AMCC), Hilbert (4-4-1, 1-2 AMCC)

Key Moments:

* The Lions scored three unanswered goals to earn their third straight conference win
* Hilbert struck first in the fifth minute off a goal from Cam Murdie
* The duo of Brock Kiefer and Reilly Nickles attributed to the goal to make it even
* In the 16^th minute, Kiefer found Nickles who sent the ball into the lower left of the goal
* Both teams battled for 37 scoreless minutes, before Daniel Christafano put Behrend ahead by one
* At the 52:48 mark of the second half, Christafano scored his first collegiate goal to make it 2-1
* Cole Thomas added an insurance goal in the 73^rd minute off a pass from Fin Dengel
* Dengel's assist was his first of the season
* Anthony Scalise tallied five saves in between the pipes
* This is the third game this season the Lions have rallied back from a goal down
