Bolea, Polosky Named AMCC Players of the Week

Senior goalkeeper Chris Bolea and freshman midfielder Sean Polosky have been named this weeks Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Players of the Week.

ERIE, Pa. - Senior goalkeeper Chris Bolea (Ambridge, PA/Ambridge) and freshman midfielder Sean Polosky (Upper St. Clair, PA/Upper St. Clair) have been named this weeks Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Players of the Week.

Both players were instrumental in the Lions AMCC Championship victory over Medaille on Saturday.  Polosky netted the game winner in the 83rd minute to propel Behrend to their first title since 2007.  Bolea made six saves in net and recorded the shut out to secure the Lions eighth straight victory.

After winning the AMCC crown, Behrend earned the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament where they will face Hobart on Saturday.
